About

Built to untangle hard problems

AlgoVexa is a software engineering studio based in George, Western Cape. We exist for the systems other teams call too hard: real-time platforms, offline-first products, and the cloud estates that keep them honest.

Mission

To pioneer AI-driven software that decodes complexity — built responsibly, and proven in production.

We build intelligent software for intricate, high-stakes problems — and we stay accountable for it after launch. Not decks, not demos: running systems that earn their keep.

Vision

A world where intelligent software makes the most complex problems simple — where your organisation achieves things its systems used to prevent. We build algorithms that don't just solve today's challenge, but anticipate tomorrow's.

01Values

What we hold ourselves to

Innovation

We push what software can do — and reach for new tools only when they serve the problem.

Integrity

Honest estimates, honest claims, and code we're happy to be judged on. NDAs are kept to the letter.

Impact

We measure ourselves on systems in production and the value they create — not hours billed.

Collaboration

We work as part of your team: shared context, shared tools, and no black boxes at handover.

02 The name

Algo + Vexa

Algo — the algorithms at the core of everything we ship: the scoring engines, the sync logic, the pipelines that turn events into answers.

Vexa— from the vexing: the knotted, complex problems most teams route around. They're the ones we take on.

AlgoVexa is the practice of untangling them — with engineering, not magic.

03How we're different

We run what we build

Accountable in production

Launch day isn't handover day. We operate our systems on AWS — deploys, monitoring, incident response — so quality is in our own interest.

Tests as culture

Our flagship platform ships behind more than 600 automated tests. Green pipelines aren't a ritual; they're how we move fast without breaking trust.

Cost-aware by default

Cloud bills are an engineering output. We design estates with budgets, alarms and free-tier awareness — this site itself runs for about the price of a coffee a month.

Built in South Africa, engineered for anywhere.
